i read the book city of bones writen by cassandra clare.
it is about a girl named clary fray who finds out that she is a part of a very small race of people called shadow hunters who were created to kill the demons in the world
to protect the human race. along the way, she finds out that most of the life she thought she knew had been a lie, and learns that shadow hunters are in danger from a great enemy.
i love this book because it is very detailed, has a gripping story line that keeps you on your toes, and takes you to a world outside of your own, that you never want to leave.
city of bones is a part of the fantastic trilogy, the mortal instruments.
the first book in the preaqual series will be coming out on augest 31, and the 4th mortal instruments book will be out in spring, 2011
